Hello,I know it's kind of a cheap board, but it was all Tiger Direct had left on the shelf Boxing Day 2011.
That said, it's been fine until about 2 weeks ago.
2 of the rear USB ports have stopped working. The only thing I've used them for is a new Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse.
About the same time I started getting a message that the driver for my XFX 6850 had stopped working. Screen would go blank, then come back in about 15 seconds. Reinstalled the driver, same problem.
This is all after installing windows 8 about a month ago.
Is there a chance these problems are software related, or is it a crapped out motherboard?
Don't think its heat related.
Intel 2600k
XFX 6850
Corsair 750 watt power supply
8 gb Corsair Vengeance ram
Corsair H60 cooler
OCZ Vertex 3 SSD
WD Black
Rosewill Destroyer case

Have you installed the newest BIOS? This motherboard in particular had a problem with windows 8, and they released a BIOS update to fix it. If you did that already, than it's just the board going bad.

Thanks for the reply. Updated the BIOS just before I read this. All is fine. For Now.
I should know better than using a $120.00 motherboard to run $1000.00 worth of equipment.

Glad that you fixed the problem! Whenever buying a new board, always be sure you update the bois first. Typically if you get one where bois are old(6-12 months), it does not know how to properly run the newer hardware.
