Hello, in an old thread of mine i asked for advice for some new components, and i appreciate the community for helping me, i upgraded my pc, from an old P4 system to this:
Phenom II x4 955 3.2Ghz
4Gb Kingston HyperX 1600mhz
Gigabyte GA-MA68 Nvidia chipset 7025
Trust 370W PSU Low Noise PW-5150
AMD Radeon HD 4650 512mb ddr2 CLUB 3D.

I just noticed the video card comes short to the system, and i would really appreciate if you could recommend me a nice card in range of the 100 euros, i live in Spain. I thought of the HD 5670 but i don't know if the psu would handle it... I'm using this system for video editing, and gaming, but i don't want anything maxed out or something like that, just good framerates, acceptable quality, at this resolution: 1280x720, 18,5 widescreen monitor. THANKS in advance!!

I would suggest going with a 6670.I'm not sure on what type of quality your PSU is so I wouldn't reccomend going any higher than a 6670.You should see a nice improvement over your current card with the 6670.

thanks but it would handle the whole system?

Is their more than one rail? Should say +12/v1 and +12/v2

If it doesn't have more than one rail and all it has is 15amps then it's very possible that the current GPU and CPU are getting downclocked due to lack of power.

Look in Alternate.es (its where i buy most of my pc components).
Id suggest a 5770 or a 6770 and a new PSU (the CPu is quite powerfull, so you might have that system for a decent ammount of time if u spend that extra 20E that wou would probably spend on a pizza anyway :D.

I would get a new PSU becouse that one is low quality, and if it fails and dies, it might take some of your pc with it to hell.

the cpu is runnning at its stock frequency, 3.2ghz, and the graphics card is ok, it runs at 600mhz core clock and 400mhz memory.

ah, what the hell,
I looked it out, it has:
+3.3V-14A
+5V-30A
from these 2 = 180w

+12V-15A = 180w
-12V-0.8A = 9.6w
+5VSB-2A = 10w

370w Maximal combined output power.
I hope this helps, and thanks for keeping this thread alive.
