i have 2x 2gb ddr3 ram.

Well the problem is, it just freezes, sometimes i move my mouse left to right, then my mouse stops midway through, the next second it will jump to the right of the screen. is it due to the computer overclocking? or just something else? i tried turning off all the overclocking features in the bios (hopefully i offed all)

I have had my P8P67 freeze solid, tried new RAM and new PSU. The fix of me was to disable TPU and EPU, the later in the BIOS. Now back with the original, faster RAM and it seems to be standing up okay.

P8P67 Deluxe
i7 2700K
16GB RAM 1600MHz (don't try to run it faster than 1333, the CPU only supports up to 1333MHz)
RAID 0 120G SSD
RIAD 5 1TB, 3 discs
ATI FirePro V5900
LG Blu-Ray
Thermaltake 675W PSU

Hope it works for you.

Occasional freezing for 1-2 seconds could also mean that there is a process running in the background using all 4 cores excessively. Easy solution is to check in task manager and see what the CPU usage figure is.
