Overseas Computer question

So, 2 days before im about to purchase my Alienware aurora from the alienware Australia website, they discontinue the model, and ALL other desktops on the site. And i dont want a laptop. My question is, if i buy an alienware from america and have it shipped to australia, will there be hardware problems that will stuff it up, and make it run slower, and will it even work ( yes i will be using an adapter for it, i know about the different plugs)

There shouldn't be any issues, and a replacement power cable may be cheaper than an adaptor (I know it was in Germany). Just make sure the voltage is set to what you have (if the PSU has a switch for 110v/220v). Honestly that is the first thing I'd upgrade down the road, the PSU (replace it with a good name brand, ie: Antec, XFX, Corsair, OCZ/PC P&C, Silverstone/Seasonic, or Enermax/Lepa).
