~$1200 Build

I am in the process of buying parts for my first PC build. I have a few components already and I just want some feedback and recommendations for the few remaining parts I need. I still need Memory, hard drive, GPU, maybe an ssd.

Was wondering if I should just buy an SSD to start as I have a 1tb external Hard drive.

Not exactly sure what the best Memory would be. I'm thinking about 8 gigs but not entirely sure what the best cards are.

Wondering where the best site would be to get the best deal on Windows 7.

I was thinking of getting an EVGA GTX 570 HD 2560MB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130687, an extra $50 and I get twice the memory. Not sure if it makes a huge difference but I figure it can't be bad.

Any other tips or advice is welcome.

More about 1200 build
  1. Yes on the keeping HDD, the prices are insane. For an SSD, look at the Crucial M4.
Look at the GTX 570 for your GPU.
I would say HAF 922. Probably the most debatable part.
Monitor,ASUS makes some good, not high price stuff.
