Hey I was originally looking at a corsair cx430 but the mail in rebate is gone and theres no way it would get ther eintime it expires tommorow. SO anyways can you help me pick out a power supply that is from a good brand name is 500w or under nothing below 430 though. And DOES NOT HAVE A MAIL IN REBATE. THanx :)

Hello pdizzle;

It's the Purchase date that matters. Order it today and you get the $8 off promo plus the $20 rebate card.

The CX430 V2 is consistently one of the best low priced PSUs you will find. The $8 promo code is done immediately at check out so it will get there immediately making it only $37 before rebate. For a low power system i don't know of any better options.

You'll have up to March 26th to submit the rebate paperwork:

Even if that rebate does "expire" tomorrow, im willing to bet that its just going to get another one. The 430CX V2 has had at least a $10 rebate on it since january, the $20 one may have just been for this week, but next week will have a similar one.

Did you get the PSU yet?
One of the requirements was to include the original UPC code off the box.

WIll it not go through is it not valid? how can I find out I really need that rebate.

Right now the deal changed to this.

Did you include the UPC code like mentioned in step #4 of the rebate guide? (see the image above).

It doesn't matter what the PSU has today.

What matters - is did you fill out the rebate application exactly as it says?
I don't see how it's possible you did that without first getting the PSU.

Don't send it TILL you get the PSU and find the UPC code.

--> Read #4 in that image above.

The UPC code is in the lower left - it's the bar coded product label.

I think it's actually the small label - but cut out and mail in that whole lower corner.

You're covered as long as the outbound mail is POSTMARKED by March 26th.

It's more important that you follow the instructions than it is to hurry.
Don't give them any chance to deny the rebate because you didn't follow the guidelines.

If you have any questions you will have time to ask them.

You'd need to provide more info on what type of MB you'd need.
Like what CPU you need the MB to support and the other features you need.
You'll probably need to get lucky on a used board on eBay to meet your goal of $30

You probably want to hop over into the Motherboard section of the forums and make a post there.

Rebate = UPC code = Box = Cut it out

Make copies of every document you need to send in. Seems that the rebate processors get extra incentive to lose as many as possible.
m

March 9, 2012 2:56:11 AM

But if I cut out the upc code it will make a hole in the box..

And you'll want to keep all those documents in a safe place if you should ever need to get warranty service.

Which do you want more?
A box without a hole? Or the $20 rebate card?

Read the directions from the manufacturer. Should be step by step instructions that you have to follow by the letter in order to qualify. READ them.
