The tower has an Opteron 180 in it, from what I think I remember the CPU controls whether I can use ECC or non-ECC right? So that means with the Opteron I can use that ECC ram correct? Since the little bro is only 9 and the box has vista 64 the Opteron 180 and an HD3850 ram is the weakest link and the last possible upgrade.
