Want to upgrade video card

I currently have a GeForce 8600 GT and would like to replace it with whatever fits the slot andgives me the best bang for buck.

To recommend something we need to know what the budget is and second it would be nice to know what other hardware you are using since that will play a roll in what we will recommend.
