I'm looking for a decent gaming computer for around 1500USD, and I have no idea what to get for a motherboard. I'm looking to stay intel, and definitely nvidia for the video card(s)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming

Parts Not Required: Power Supply (1600 watt x3), case, dvd drive, secondary hardrive (have a 1tb seagate barracuda), keyboard, mouse, speakers, and monitor.

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI: Maybe, but prefer not to

Monitor Resolution: 1680x1050

I really don't know where to start for a motherboard, my old EVGA 790i was a piece of garbage, and RMA is a pain in the ass (although EVGA was easy to deal with customer service wise). This computer will be used a LOT.

I've basically already decided on: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115072 for a processor

and: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233147 for ram. What's the difference between that ram and this ram: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233141 ? Could I just get 2 sticks of the 4gb ram and save $30.00?

I also decided to get a new case and a couple of other things, so that basically leaves me with up to $1000.00 to spend on a motherboard, ssd, and video card (thinking about just going for the 580).
