I have an asus P8Z77-V motherboard with an asus ENGTS450 video card. I would prefer to use the card. How can I disable the onboard video. I looked around the bios settings and I didn't see anything.

thanks

Hi, If installing the card and connecting the monitor to it, the card should work. You can also set the Primary display in BIOS from Auto to PEG, but again, the card should work with the default setting in BIOS, which is auto.

thanks for your response. I got the card to work by updating the bios from 16xx to 1805. that seems to have caused another problem but one I can live with.
thanks again
