Hi guys, Im thinking about adding some memory to my system for the first time. This is what came with my system: Corsair XMS3 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 (1600MHz) Low Latency Tri-Channel

The closest thing I could find is Corsair CMX6GX3M3A1600C9 XMS3 on amazon. Will this be compatible or do I need to replace all the ram?

Seems to me that it should work fine. It's from the same brand (Corsair) and both DDR3 with the same voltage requirementes of 1600MHz. I can't see any reason it would give you any trouble.

Check your motherboard's QVL (qualified vendors list) at their support web site just to make sure....
