Difference between intel Duo core and Intel 2-duo

Hello,
please what is the difference between intel Duo core and Intel 2-duo

Core2 duo changed the design of the chipset; runs cooler. P4's have hyperthreading support, but it's not the same as running with 2 cores. You must check the "cpu support" section before purchasing any board to be sure it will work, and see if a bios update is required for the newer cpus listed.

If you're talking about Intel's Core Duo and Core 2 Duo then the Core 2 series is a newer generation with a slightly different architecture and overall better performance.

Also: Core 2 Duo CPUs are 64-bit compatible.
Core Duo CPUs can only run 32-bit operating systems.
