Boot Problem w/ Asus P8Z77-V LX: Safemode Only
Just installed above mentioned mobo w/ a new intel i5 3570K cpu. I couldn't get into windows at all before switching SATA settings from AHCI to IDE but now I can only load into Safe Mode w/ and w/o networking. Attempting a 'normal' boot results in a long hang time on the loading screen followed by a reboot.
A lesser (though potentially related) problem is that I have installed 2 x 4gb RAM modules and the system only registers 4gb RAM.
Any thoughts would be appreciated,
