Hi, i have an acer aspire x3200 and the fan broke ( started making loud noise) i need a replacement. the heatsink is fine i could buy fan+heatsink if cheaper but i havnt found the right type of Fan+replacement! ill place a link of an image http://www.cdsparts.com/p-450-new-acer-aspire-x1200-x13...
I dont want to spend that amount if i can just buy the fan or find a fan+heatsink for sale on newegg for less then 20.. i have looked at a 92mm cpu fan but i wanted to get other people opinion before i buy! its http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168..., also ill link to the motherboard http://www.ebay.com/itm/Acer-Aspire-X3200-DAO78L-mother...

Help please!

Have you ever tried to put some machinery lubricant on your mentioned broken fan? I think you should.

If you insist to replace them, whatever you choose should get you safe if you can mount them properly...though, I'm not sure how it will perform than stock fan should be. Zalman has some of the cheapest fan but not a half bad either. And it should deliver a slightly better of what stock cooler would.

All in all, I think you should get a new cooler instead of just fan.

If they state it should compatible with the mentioned spec and when you buy it doesn't, you can always return them.

Good hunting, mate!

cheers.

Hi warmeister,

I have the similar issue on my Acer x3200. Did you find a fan or fan+heatsink that fit the motherboard yet?
Please let me know so I can replace mine.

Thanks,
Harver
