PSU problem

Hi

I just bought my power supply 4 days ago (TX750M). When I went to connect my second nvidia gtx260 via the 6 pin cable and tried to boot up my pc, nothing happened. Furthermore, a squealing sound comes out of my PSU when I move the mouse.

Sounds like your PSU is maxed out (and likely defective). I suggest you exchange it now.

Btw when I went to turn it on the first few times, a spark was generated in the PSU. I am now sorting out a replacement

Thank god amazon sorted the issue immediately. Tomorrow I will have a brand new PSU!

I have seen no spark, but I just installed a Crucial M4 256GB SSD.

And now when I move my mouse, I hear a faint sound from the tower (PSU or Motherboard or GPU?).
It sounds like a reallly faint and constant morse-code sound when I move the mouse.
The sound is not made unless I am in windows.

Does this sound like the problem you had Gate9er?
Maybe I should be warrantying mine too.
