Is there a way to have two network connections through 1 powerline?

Hello,

I was talking to an ATT representative and she said it is possible to have two internet connections under one house, however, we are limited in powerlines. So, what I was wondering is if it would be at all possible to run two separate internet connections, with two separate IP addresses running from one powerline. I know there are like powerline adapters, but will it actually allow two separate network connections (as in paying for two separate lines)?

It would be better, yes. However, I am currently living at home with my grandparents until late April and my grandparents want me to get a separate network connection from theirs for my PC. So, it's not that I WANT two ISP's, but I need an ISP for myself if I wish to continue being on the network.
