Transfer genuine os from hdd to ssd

Hello,
once the product key is used, so it cant be use again (maybe), well i have installed os genuine windows 7 in hdd, since i need to increase data transfer performance and boot time so i decided to use ssd as my primary drive, but the question is can i use the os which already install in hdd to my new ssd?
