The cpu goes on a white thing name?

Sounds like the CPU socket from an old P4 or Socket A.

If your talking about the Socket that the cpu goes into I don't think you will be able to replace it. You will need a new mother board.

cheers on your successful upload . . .no offense on the fail pic but i thought it was funny.

unfortunately that, the CPU SOCKET 939, is a part on the motherboard that when gets broke cannot be replaced.

and it looks like an old one too even if you could find it.
