Upgrading Gaming PC - $1000 Budget

Hello,

This Christmas I will be purchasing some components to upgrade my gaming pc.

The components I want to upgrade are my:
CPU
Motherboard
RAM
Video Card
PSU

I currently have (in same order):
CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E8500 @ 3.16GHz
Mobo - Gigabyte EP45-DS3P
RAM - 4GB (not sure what ddr)
Video Card - ATI HD 4870
PSU - EzCool (no name brand) 550w

My budget is $1000, I will not be overclocking (never done it and don't plan on it atm).

I'm from Australia so I will be ordering from www.pccasegear.com.au


This is what I was originally going to get (totalled at $625 not incl. postage).

It doesn't include the psu because my current psu can run the gtx 560.

Because it is $400 under my budget, I want to know what I should get.

Hello my friend. Since you are not overclocking anything. I suggest you get a H61 motherboard.

Gigabyte H61 motherboard.

Get a GTX 560ti not a 560.
