Hi everyone,

I was looking to buy a new graphics card with my new gaming rig. I was wondering what an "equivalent" of a crossfired 2x5770 would be. I am trying to figure out what card I should go with. With my budget, it would be nice to get a 5770 now, and another in a few months, or I could go with a single, more expensive card now (but no future addition).

What would be a good approximation for a card which would be similar to 2x5770's?

Solution

2 X 5770s are on par with a single HD5850.

You should go for a more better card right now. On total you've got a $200+ budget right? You can get a HD 6950 for that price. :)

My PSU is 850W, so that shouldn't be a problem at all. I actually got a 5770, so a second one (or a 6770) might be my best option if I can't sell this 5770 to another friend and proceed with my upgrade as planned.
