Great! now last question I forgot to mention

In my house, everytime the vacum, washing machine, microwave oven are started the lights of my house dim for like 1 second, I believe this means the voltage go down right? will any of these surge protectors, protect my psu from that? don't tell me I need an ups please

ok seriousley i would recommend getting a ups as you pc is quite expensive and they only cost like R1000 and i would if i where you i have two!! because you'll be sorry when your pc is fried!!

My house does the same thing,as long as you have a decent surge protector it will safeguard against voltage spikes.
Keep in mind your psu, which is a good one, also has built-in protection features.

I wouldn't say it does = you should invest in a surge protector if you don't have one regardless!
Plugging your rig directly in the wall socket is asking for problems imo.
Your unit has some listed internal protection features.
OVP,UVP(over and under voltage),OPP/OLP(over power),OCP(over current),and SCP(short circuit).
