About making ram to its speed [no XMP]

i just bought 2x4gb kingston hyper X 1600mhz memory for my g970a -ds3 board, how do i have it running at 1600mhz?? cause it's currently running only on 1333mhz, there's no XMP on this bios,so how do i do it??

Hard to say without mobo/BIOS info. Generally, you will go in to the BIOS and set the FSB to 400MHz for the 1600 rate. It looks as though you have currently set to 333MHz by default.

Use the manufacturer's stated timings (ie: 9-9-9, etc...) and get back to us.
