No Sound

I will start from the top.

My graphics card went out and I purchased a Nvidia GeForce GT 520. When they reinstalled it blue screened and they reisnstalled the OS, everything was wiped. Will buying a new graphics card effect my sound card in any way? I reinstalled Realtek drivers because I knew I had those before they put the new OS on. I am not sure what to do. The Windows Troubleshooter does not find any problems. I have restarted and cleared my computer. I am not sure what to do. Ask me and questions please I will be more than happy to answer them.

Is the new OS a different version then the previous one?
What motherboard and OS?

Did you install any drivers other than the Realtek drivers, and did the audio function without the Realtek drivers installed?
