So I am about to build a new system that I will use to carry to LAN parties and buddies' houses. I like when cases are flashy, and I absolutely want a window. A case that comes with a window is preferred, but if there is another that is outstanding and would be a pretty easy window mod job that takes priority. Lightweight, plenty of space behind the mobo tray for cable routing, and good ventilation are my preferences. A painted black interior is a must. The cases I'm looking at are:

This doesn't have great ventilation, but is only 10 pounds, has a sleek window, and has plenty of space behind the mobo tray.

12 pounds, easy window mod job, amazing ventilation, fine amount of space behind tray.

Can't find how heavy this is :(

Medium weight, love the look, good ventilation. Why does anybody think we want toolless expansion slots though?

Because I probably won't liquid cool, I can't think of a reason I would want this over the Challenger.

Maybe, because of the weight and how I like the overall look.

As you can probably tell, I like the flashy designs, but not something that is overly flamboyant. What do you think?

IMO, I think you should focus more on size rather than weight to decide on a case you can easily carry around. Couple pounds of case won't matter as much as the bulkiness.

The Thermaltake V9 BlacX appears to have terrible cable management for a $100+ case and pass-thru USB3.0 = yuck!
I'm not a fan of Rosewill or Thermaltake cases.
Rosewill cases are not well built.= Bill from Mnpctech agrees.
Can't see them enduring much movement since plenty arrive damaged from shipping alone from Newegg.
Never used a Thermaltake but have handled many in person = don't see the quality there either.
That's my opinion.
I do like the NZXT and often recommend it.
The 430 has decent cable management = have one!
The long narrow space next to the hdd/odd area is wide open.(your looking at the other side panel)

The one reason I haven't looked at much NZXT is because I built a rig for my friend awhile back with an M59, and there was literally less than 4mm of space behind the mobo tray. I now have a big fear of this :p. I didn't see that that hole was there, and how much space is back behind the tray?

Google is good!

I recommend Source cases alot = good value for features.
