Hello,I am getting a cooler master storm enforcer case with
Asus M5a97-Evo motherboard
Asus Redeon HD6570
AMD fx-8150
500gb Hard Drive
8g of ram
so i was woundering how much power i would need

That's for a gaming build? That HD 6570 isn't much of a gaming GPU.
A decent 400W PSU should be plenty.

What's the reason behind getting such a weak graphics card?

For a system using a single Radeon HD 6570 graphics card AMD specifies a minimum of a 400 Watt or greater power supply. The power supply should also have a combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 20 Amps or greater.

Total Power Supply Wattage is NOT the crucial factor in power supply selection!!! Total Continuous Amperage Available on the +12V Rail(s) is the most important factor.
