The Antec 9oow is a good choice and the price was just reduced on Newegg by $10 , so it is now $129.99. If you plan on getting 4 video cards then you should be looking at a 1200w psu for sure. I have this one in my Pc and I have 3 GTX 580's.

Antec High Current Pro HCP-1200 1200W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply $269.99.

Some alternatives:

Seasonic X-1250 80Plus Gold Modular $270 ($11 shipping)

XFX Pro 1250W Black Edition 80Plus Gold Modular $270 ($11 shipping)
Based on the same internal design as the Seasonic, so choose which ever.

Enermax SGalaxy Evo 1250W 80Plus Bronze Modular $260 ($30 rebate, $6 shipping)

I would like to reiterate that you only need this much wattage if you want to use four 6950s.

Thanks for advise 4 GPU's is definatly a fair way down the track and as i only have $200 left for PSU i might havto go with either a 900w or 1000w dam budget

It is highly unlikely you are going to get 4 way Crossfire. I would just get a Corsair TX750 which can easily power 2 6950s.
