My first build.

Hi i am looking to build my first pc! I have to say though that i have been a little overwhelmed by all the diferent motherboard cases and also what is compatible with what? So i would like to built a pc for mainly internet surfing. I am looking to spend up to £400 and i would like to have a intel i 5 ivy bridge procesor and 16 gigs of ram in a midi tower case but i am unsure of what motherboard to get. So any sudgestions or tips will be most welcome
