AC'97 TO HD AUDIO

Hello,
I just purchased a GateWatcher II shows all temps, usb, headset,mic Well the thing is all it has is a Ac'97 plug. My motherboard is a MSI G42TM-E43 and I am told it is a HD AUDIO I plugged my Ac'97 to the JAUD 1 plug. Well when I plug in my headset and mic doesnt work. Is there anyway I can fix that plz.

Just a question but, did any adapters come with your motherboard?, i googled the Gatewatcher thing and couldn't really find anything

Update your mobo drivers and the like.

therecshould be an option in the BIOS to switch the board to AC97
