GTX 550 1gig to 3gig upgrade

hi everyone, i can upgrade my current gpu i:e evga gtx 550 ti 1gig to inno3d 550ti 3gig for a minimal price but i wanted to know if it will improve my gaming experience in any way.

Current specs:

mobo dh61ww

proc i5 2300

gpu evga 550 ti

ram 6gig 1333

psu 550w 80plus

hard 1tb green caviar black

1680x1050 reso led

I don't think it would help , even if you are getting more memory , inno3d is crap and evga is good.Since your card is evga you can OC it and not worry about heat problems.

There's 3GB 550Ti ?

Well,

1. You dont even need more than 1GB of Vram @1080p
2. The GPU cant even utilize 3GB of memory
3. Getting a faster GPU is better than getting the same GPU with more RAM
4. What exact PSU do u have? name ?
5. What games are u playing? u might not even need an upgrade

as far as upgrading goes, I would say keep for 550Ti until 28nm GPUs launch,
mid range HD7k should launch in Quarter 1 2012,
