i was wondering if two non-3d acer displays could be paired up with one acer 3d display. All monitors running 1080p

If your talking about Nvidia Surround, then you need three matching identical 3D screens!

http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-surround.html

You could pair all three just like any three monitors, as long as you have the correct means of video cards.

Like i have a 560 Ti, I need another if i want to hook up my 3rd.

But if your talking about trying to do 3D in the middle and use the other two acers while using 3D, then no you can't, but you can do three monitors, just not in 3D surround.

You can always do 3D with a Single Monitor/TV as long as it either comes with it's own glasses or you get the 3d Vision for it. Either way it has to be 3D enabled.

I thought about the surround 3D, but for 900$ which is the cheapest for three 23" 3D screens.

I could get a nice 42-55" 3D Plasma/LED for about 800-900$

This would be ideal for gaming and movies. 3D on computer monitors seems kind of lame, when you can have it on a huge 42"+!

The Nvidia Vision 2 is coming, i would wait on a 3D monitor to try and get a lower price!
