Hello

Need some help.

We have 4 computers running in our home without a hiccup.
We have recently introduced a 5th. Once we power on this computer it completely disables all of the internet throughout the house ... Turn it off and the internet is restored! We have turned off the Wifi, etc ....
The second weird thing is - once in awhile its had working internet ....

Agree, I'm guessing the router has a small subnet and only alloting 4 IPs. Go to each computer, open a command prompt and type 'ipconfig' (without quotes) and look at the IP it's assigning to that machine. They should ALL be different (ie 192.168.1.2, 192.168.1.3 etc). If two are the same, there's a problem with your DHCP or the network properties has static IPs assigned that are the same as the IPs your router propogates.

The cmd screen will spew lots of numbers, look for something like this:

IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.2
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1
