Acer x193w lcd monitor for xp

Hello,
i just bought a 2nd hand acer 193w and it has a distortion problem when i connect it to my asus p5kpl-am se,but when i connect it to my lg ed500 laptop it was good and clear and dont have any distortion,i dont know if my motherboard or video card have the prolem or not ...please help

What kind of distortion you have.... P5KPL-AM has on board Video ... are you using that .... try to update the Video Driver... and because if use on board Video ... the Video memory is share .... you can also do menory test..
