Upgrade from 285sli

Hello,
I was wondering what would be a better choice- twin 560ti's or a single 570/580 @ 720P widescreen. I play on a samsung 32 inch 720p LCD monitor. Will I actually realize a true performace gain?

system is: w3570 @ 4.6ghz, 24 gigs of ram, 1000watt psu. win 7 ultimate

At 720P you already have a massive overkill! Spend the money on at minimum full 1080P monitor/TV!
