My stat's are listed down below, I am currently i the market for (4) 2GB sticks of DDR2 800 (8GB TOTAL); I am looking for the best choice, I know that the closest it is to a 1.8v the better chance you have at getting actual 800MHZ factory and I rather run cooler memory. I don't want some 667MHZ that get's overclocked to 4-4-4-12 at 2.0-2.1v, 1.9v is the highest i'll go. Will a good gaming CL5 5-5-5-18 be sufficient, any suggesions on the matter helps, thank you for your help!

ASUS P5N-D SLI-750
4GB HYPER-X DDR2 800 @ 4-4-4-12 2.0V
ASUS GTX 560 @ 850MHZ
INTEL CORE 2 DUO Q6750 2.66GHZ @ 3.3GHZ
PC POWER AND COOLING 670; 610 CONTINUOUS (80+ cert)

ddr2 is so expensive right now. hard to get good matched kits for less than $150! second hand would be an option, but you will always take a risk.

ive pretty much the same set up as you, and am resigned to upgrading the whole system soon as opposed to eeking out any minor performance gains, which really aren't worth the money!
