Has anyone had problems installing the LiveWare software? I've got a Soundblaster MP3+ 5.1, running on a Athlon 700, w/ Radeon card. When trying to install the software, says errors has occured and the software may not be able to be uninstalled. If you continue and reboot into Win98, it freezes at the desktop. Can't get it to continue.

I don't use Liveware. Wait, I should say I can't use Liveware. It causes all kinds of problems with my system and all the systems I have ever seen it on.
I keep waiting for Liveware 4 but it still has not arrived. I know it sucks but I would recommend not using it.

Well, got a Live! Player 1024 and Liveware 3 and never had a problem!

Ooooh!
Can it be a IRQ problem caused by your Radeon ??
Might be!!

Not sure there is a conflict, the card itself works fine with the original software, its just with loading the new LiveWare that the problem exists.

The Radeon shouldn't have anything to do with it.

I have a Hercules Geforce1 DDR card, Win2K, and a SB Live (X-gamer). I have never had problems with Liveware.
