Hey guys, I'm new to the site but after reading all the wonderful advice and seeing all the great responses I thought I would come here and join the community! Consequently, I am looking for advice on my new build (already have my case picked out):

GPU:
Radeon HD 6850
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16814102908

RAM:
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16820231455

CPU:
AMD Phenom II X4 960T Zosma 3.0GHz
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16819103995

PSU:
Corsair 650Tx
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16817139005

HDD:
Hitatchi 750Gb
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16822145532

MOBO:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16813128519

With the current hike in HDD prices, I think thats where the room for most improvement is, but let me know what you guys think! Thank you so much!

Got excited about that HDD last night when I came across it, but it's a no go. Not sure if it's ymmv... it says delivery only, and when I put my zip code in, it then says out of stock. wah wah

How is XFX a much more trusted brand? PowerColor is better. XFX has a crazy RMA process and most of the time they don't even honor their warranties.

Don't get an XFX.
