XFX 6990 Eyefinity hook up question

Here is the card http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/ite...

I will be running 3 Samsung LED TV's - which will be using HDMI input.

It looks like the card comes with a passive mini display port to HDMI cable. I've read that I need an active display port adapter to HDMI for the 3rd TV. So heres what it would look like.

1st TV - DVI to HDMI cable
2nd TV - mini display port to HDMI (using provided cable plus HDMI cable)
3rd TV - active mini display port adapter to HDMI

Does anyone know where I can find this active display port adapter? it has to be a mini, so that throws me off a bit.

Also, if I'm wrong about that cable that comes with the card, let me know. I know only a bit about active vs passive display port adapters.

I'll continue looking, but these are a bit harder to find. Again, if I have the idea wrong, please correct me.

EDIT: I found an active MINI display port adapter to DVI. Using this with a DVI to HDMI cable should work for the 3rd monitor I assume?

This cable is marked as active, but is quite a bit cheaper. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Not sure the difference.

The card should come with an active and a passive mini-dp to DVI adaptors. Both the adaptors mentioned also work, the first (powered accell) is required if you will be running greater than 1920x1080 (per monitor) otherwise the second listed and the one that should come with the card will suffice.

Your correct that the third monitor needs a active adaptor, just use a DVI-HDMI cable like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168....

Hope that helps.

Each display is only running 1920x1080, so I won't need one of the powered adapters then? That definitely saves me some cash.

So it will be:

1st TV: DVI to HDMI cable
2nd TV: passive display port adapter (included with card)
3rd TV: active display port adapter (dont need the USB powered one, said to be included with card?) - again, only ever running at 1080p
