Is it okay to unplug usb mouse without shutting down OS?
Mar 10, 2012, 1:07 PM
I'm using usb mouse into my laptop with windows xp. Recently, my mouse got defect: when the left button clicked, sometimes it sends double click instead.
I just bought the mouse about 3 months ago. I don't know if the defect occured because I often used it to play game or that because...
I often to unplug the usb mouse without shutting down the OS first, could it be the cause of the mouse defect?
Note: the unplug of mouse is performed by hand, you know, just pull off the usb plug, since there is no software removal mechanism like we seen when to remove usb flashdisk/harddisk.
Thx in advance.
