How to send only bass in left or right speaker

i have a left and right output amplifier and ihave connevted my subwoofer in left while my speakers are connected in right and i wanna send only bass in my subwoofer..............help me!!!!!!!!!!

If the signal your trying to split is already amplified, which I believe it is then your going to need a passive crossover circuit. sometimes these are built into subwoofers and your mid high speakers can be connected to the sub and the sub connected to the amplified signal source.
