Hello,
I've got a questions, I have an intel i7-2600k , H61 chipset apparently, it has LGA 1155 socket. I want to upgrade my motherboard, but not sure which one works with my cpu, (currently have BIOstar H61MU3) does that mean i have to get a motherboard with H61? or can i get a motherboard with like Z77 and an LGA 1155 socket?.

Thanks!
Eggy

Hi,
Any LGA 1155 board does support the CPU, so a Z77 one too.

A Z77 one that supports Crossfire. It depends on the budget. One with x8 x8.

I'm not sure if the gain in performance would justify the extra spending.
