Hello,
I am writing this about an issue I have with my pc.

Athlon Xp1700+
256 DDR 2100
Geforge2 Mx400
Gigabyte vtxe 266a bios f4
Win XP pro

My 3d marks 2001 are quite low and it seems that I
have a problem with my AGP bus. I use win XP pro and I
get a 1370 result 3D mark 2001. Is there a possibility
that this is a similar AGP problem to the one mentioned in AMD support with win 2000 ?

AGP is enabled in the bios and I have tried both fast writes on and off.

I have all the latest drivers from via and nvidia.
I would appreciate your help. Thank you.

Fugit. Try that w2k-agp-via patch. XP has the same code base as w2k anyway. Muster up some balls and give it a try...set a system restore point for yourself. You'll have that and the driver rollback feature to fall back on.

It's not without risk but I'd try it if it were my system :)

I have already tried this but with no succes.
I also contacted amd but they haven't applied yet.

I cannot think of anything else. My 3d mark is indeed low isn't it ??? On quake demo four 1024 16bit I only get 32fps

Make sure you enable AGP 4x in bios and download NVMAX to make sure windows is set to use AGP 4x...

beside that i dunno
