Hi guys,

I need a new pc and I've put together some parts, please advice if they will "work" good together, any improvements on it are welcomed.



Mobo - Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD5-B3

CPU - Intel Core i7 2600K 3.40GHz box

VC - Gainward GeForce GTX 580 Phantom 3GB DDR5 384-bit

HD - Seagate 1TB SATA-III 7200 RPM 64 MB Barracuda

SSD - Corsair Nova Series 2 60GB SATA-II 2.5 inch ( for win 7 and other programs on it )

RAM - Corsair Vengeance blue 8GB DDR3 1866MHz CL9 Dual channel kit ( x2 cause I want 16 GB in it )

CASE - Cooler Master CM 690 II ( with additional 6 Deepcool Wind Blade 120 mm fans )

PSU - Cooler Master GX-750W

DVD-Writer - Asus DRW-24B3LT Retail Lightscribe

MONITOR - Samsung LED S27A350H 27 inch 2ms GTG Rose Black

It is good but what do you plan to do with this build? If it is only for gaming. You should go down to a i5-2500k. No difference in gaming.

Get a Corsair, Antec or Seasonic PSU.

A Corsair TX750 would a better PSU

gaming for now, but I'm thinking ahead, better to spend a little more money now, cause I have no intentions to upgrade it of modify it for like 2-3 years. and in the mean time, I will use it not only for gaming.

The last PC I've got it's CPU is killing me, but the Video Card keeps up on the games, and the rams too, so I want to be in front with the CPU this time...

On the PSU , then I'll go with the : Antec High Current Gamer 750W ?
