I was wondering if my intel core 2 duo 1.86ghz 4mb L2 cache would be decent enough for my gaming build. With this graphics card in it NVIDIA GEforce 8800 GTX. Would my build be good for Skyrim? And It's only 1.86ghz so not alot... should I get a different CPU? maybe i can overclock it if i get a good fan!

It should be if you can overclock it. Which exact model?

Intel core 2 duo E6320 1.86ghz. Also I only have a corsair CX430 power supply.

What board? That sounds good. I suggest a cooler master hyper 212, it's cheap and reliable.

AFAIK, most games have the minimum of an E6600 - thats 2.4Ghz
if you can get that up to a 1425 fsb (x17 multi) from 1066 on your board, you're there.
a p35/45 chipset shouldn't have a problem with that but mileage on the cpu may vary.

Have an E6400 that I Oced to 3.2 currently sitting in the closet as a backup.
So the 6320 should easily hit 2.4 -> 2.8.

Make sure your motherboard allows overclocking - not all do.
