SHORTING PINS

to start up my computer what pins do I have to short on my ASRock Z77 Pro4-M? Or does it have auto power on?

It would be the pins associated with the power switch. The manual should tell you which ones. Some boards will also have a dedicated switch on the board itself, so you can look for one of those. Otherwise, just get a flathead screwdriver and bridge the connection.
