I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite S855-S5378, and I want to upgrade to 16GB (2x8GB) of RAM. Which set kit would be better for my laptop? corsair vengeance or corsair vengeance performance or maybe another one. I also want to know the difference is between the two.

Performance
PROCESSOR
Intel® Core™ i7-3630QM Processor
OPERATING SYSTEM*
Windows 8
GRAPHICS ENGINE*
Mobile Intel® HD Graphics 4000
Memory and Storage
MEMORY
8GB DDR3 1600MHz memory (2x4GB)
HARD DRIVE*

Vengeance performance has more frequency than that of vengeance but your old memory in your laptop is 1600mhz so vengeance performance won't do you any good if you want to keep the old memory in your system. If you want to keep the old memory go for vengeance as the frequency matches with your old cards.

Which is better if I want to replace both sticks of RAM?

If you want to replace your old card(one that is currently in your laptop) then definitely vengeance performance is better but the performance difference is very low.
