Can i swap bios chip

i have a new motherboard and i want my old bios am i able to tale my old bios chip and use it in my new noterbard they are the same size chips

Why would anyone want to use old bios with a new motherboard?
Even if you could swap the chips it won't be compatible. Older bios won't be able to detect latest hardware on your newer motherboard.

gun most new mb have two bios on the now. a efi or gui bios and the old text bios. all you have to do is in the bios set up screen switch over to the old text bios.
