Asus P4S533-MX and Promise FastTrack 378 PATA

Hello guys. I have a question about a PCI-Controller. I recently bought a "Promise FastTrack 378 PATA Controller" since I thought that my IDE Controllers are gone. The reason that I bought that card is, my hdd which is a Samsung SP0411N, keeps always stuck while loading Windows 7. This occurs on classpnp.sys file specially. I tried to solve the problem via software solutions but after switching my driver slots, I noticed that my cd writer also starts to malfunction on the slots. Anyways, my question is, I installed this controller card and plugged the hard drive on it. I do see the green led lightning up but my mainboard does not find any hard drives at all. What steps can I do to boot from this card directly?
