Basically, I'm looking to buy a cheap laptop (which is what I'd be able to get the Acer for - cheap!) for CD-burning, DVD-watching, OfficeXP-using, and maybe the occasional game-playing. My current PC is a 200MHz Pentium, so I know I am upgrading - I guess I'm just wondering how much.
Maybe some kind soul could offer up an estimate as to the type of game that I might be capable of playing with this system? Maybe something that recommends a 500MHz processor would play smoothly on this laptop, for example? Maybe a low-requirement game like the Sims would be nice, but a higher-end game like Battlefield 1942 would not install? Or maybe it would play if I could handle occasional lag and all graphical effects turned down? I'm just really not sure how much of a bottleneck the current video card is going to be.
Thanks for reading this ramble, and for offering any comments on any of my rambles!
