Motherboards Amd and Intel

I have been reading up on asus tpu switch and I have only read about it on intel motherboards, so what I want to know is if amd motherboards from asus also have a tpu switch.

No, it is for both. I personally have a AM3+ board by Asus, the M5A97 R2.0 and it has the "dual intelligent" processors, the EPU and TPU. They are overall pretty much worthless and should not be something important to you for your motherboard...
