Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz running at 1333Mhz

Hi,

I recently Built a computer in which i used 2x4 GB corsair Vengeance RAM. I recently noticed in the Task Manager that the RAM is only running at 1333MHz when it is supposed to be 1600MHz. Does anyone know how I change this or if the RAM is faulty?

change it in the bios or enable the XMP profile if applicable

You can increase or decrease the ram frequencies in bios. Increasing the frequency of your ram card won't prove any significant speed benefit so if the ram cardsa re working properly do not try to change the ram settings.
Improper ram settings can cause system stability like random crashes.
